On average fertile soil no fertilization is required. The area for sowing should be loosely about 5cm deep. This can best be prepared in the fall of the previous year. Before sowing, finely level the soil with the rake or spade. Rough stones and root weeds should be eliminated. Then the sowing can be done. The amount of seed can be stretched by adding sawdust or quartz sand to 3-5 times the volume. This ensures a better distribution of the seeds on the surface. The optimal sowing depth is between 0.5 and 1.5 cm. For the germination sufficient moisture should be provided, especially at the beginning. Under good conditions, most seeds germinate in one to three weeks.
